Woods have been hand chosen from cold climates which cause trees to grow with tight grains. The use of two different woods allows for a balanced, natural sound.
Maple from the island of Hokkaido
Hard maple is used for the front panel to offer rigidity.
Scandinavian birch
The sides and rear panels are from a slightly softer birch wood.
A design that divides sound
Thick pieces of birch section off the woofer from the other drivers, so that sound is heard distinctly. The contoured exterior maintains resonance and balance.
